A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and school social worker born in Conway, SC, is also the mother of a student-athlete. She began writing children’s books to address the growing need for resources that help young people manage emotions. Dr. Thomas earned her B.A. in Psychology and a Master of Social Work from Clark Atlanta University, and later, a Doctorate in Social Work from Capella University.
In addition to working with students, she provides clinical supervision to professionals pursuing licensure, shaping the next genration of social workers. With years of experience in clinical and school settings, Dr. Thomas supports children and teens indvidiually and in groups, partnering with parents to promote academic and personal success. She is also a social media content creator who uses her platform to inspire confidence, encourage self-care, and uplift others. She lives in Metro Atlanta where she enjoys motherhood, fitness, traveling, and shopping.
